I built BistroApps because I got tired of hospitality software bills climbing while wages, rent, stock, and service pressure were already hard enough. The first 50 restaurants can trial the apps free while we shape the product with real operators.

Why this exists
Built from inside hospitality, with a computer science toolkit.
Running restaurants teaches you exactly where software hurts: the bill, the double entry, the disconnected tools, and the admin waiting after a long service. My computer science background helped, but the AI era made it possible to build practical tools fast enough to matter.

BistroApps is being worked on in public. The homepage shows the latest eight shipped notes from the shared update record; the archive keeps the full history.

Live Map walk-in table release is now reliable: arrived walk-ins can use Paid & finished — release table from row menus or Table Map details, and the map refreshes immediately. An open Table Map now stays current through the existing 15-second booking poll with no additional timer.

Booking Live Map now supports early table release after service, a protected staff-only Buffer table for safe swaps, compact iPad Table Map controls, and a per-booking action menu.

Booking Live Map can now be installed on an iPad Home Screen with a venue-specific icon and standalone launch, while remaining online and preserving secure PIN and session behaviour.

The complete Billing panel is now available as part of this release, grouping apps by restaurant with clear monthly or yearly pricing, lifecycle and attention states, renewal dates and prices, masked payment method management, recent invoice history, and secure Stripe-hosted payment and subscription actions.

Billing now groups subscriptions by restaurant, makes each app and its monthly or yearly billing status clearer, and keeps secure Stripe management actions available for payment and subscription changes.

Eligible active and trialing subscriptions can now switch between monthly and yearly billing through Stripe-hosted confirmation. Strictly verified paused subscriptions can set monthly or yearly without an immediate charge or proration and remain paused until a payment method is added and billing is resumed; unlinked or otherwise unsupported entitlements continue to fail closed.

Multi-venue Stripe subscriptions now show explicit Restaurant: {venue} labels, and Platform protects subscription identity and ignores description-only webhook changes so cosmetic labels do not alter billing entitlement state.

Walkie Android 1.1 is now available for device testing, with supervisor Duty Mode restoring authorized channels 1 through 6 and safer push-to-talk handling during app interruptions and backgrounding.
